Built by triathletes, for triathletes

After training or racing, do your legs feel heavy, your back loaded, your shoulders tight, your body worn out? Is the mix of swimming, cycling and running stacking up tension and holding back your recovery?

At Baan Pho Thai Massage we developed this treatment alongside triathletes and endurance athletes, to answer what triathlon training actually asks of the body, combining our background in traditional Thai massage with sports massage technique.

It is a full-body massage, but we pay particular attention to the muscles that carry the swim, the bike and the run: deltoids, traps, lats, spinal erectors, hip flexors, glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, soleus and tibialis anterior.

Ideal for
people who:

Race triathlon at any level.

Are endurance athletes combining swimming, cycling and running.

Carry muscle overload after training or racing.

Feel stiffness in shoulders, back, hips or legs.

Want better mobility, faster recovery and less fatigue between sessions.

Benefits

Why your body will
thank you

Three disciplines, one body. Every session works the whole-body recovery triathlon demands.

Complete muscle recovery

Working the whole chain involved in swimming, cycling and running releases accumulated tension and speeds up recovery between sessions.

Mobility across the board

Stretches adapted to all three disciplines restore range of movement in shoulders, hips and legs, easing the stiffness that caps performance.

Fewer overload injuries

Releasing tension in the hardest-working muscle groups lowers the risk of overload and the injuries that come with high multi-sport training volume.

Sharper performance

A recovered, mobile body with no tension stacked up responds better in every session and every race. This is part of the plan, not just the rest day.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need
to know before coming

Who is the Triathlete Recovery Massage for?

It is designed for triathletes and endurance athletes who swim, ride and run. It also suits anyone training frequently, building towards a race or wanting to recover better between sessions.

How is it different from a standard sports massage?

It combines sports massage with genuine traditional Thai technique: pressure on specific points, work along the muscle lines and gentle stretches adapted to the triathlete. The aim is not only to ease tension but to improve mobility, help recovery and get the body ready for what comes next.

Which muscles does the session work on?

It is a full-body massage, but we focus on what the three disciplines load most: deltoids, traps, lats, spinal erectors, hip flexors, glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, soleus and tibialis anterior. Every session is adapted to the athlete and their training load.

How does it differ from the Cyclist Recovery Massage?

Both share sports massage and traditional Thai technique, but they are built for different needs. The Cyclist Recovery Massage concentrates on what cycling loads, with more attention to legs, hips and lower back. The Triathlete Recovery Massage answers all three disciplines: alongside the legs it gives particular attention to shoulders, back and the whole chain triathlon involves.

How do I know if this is the right massage for me?

If you race triathlon or endurance events, feel muscle fatigue after training, carry stiffness in shoulders, back, hips or legs, or want to recover better between sessions, this treatment was designed for you. If you are unsure which massage to choose, our team will gladly suggest the right one for your discipline and your goals.
